Characteristics
Roman chamomile has soothing, comforting and gentle restorative properties making it a popular choice in calming meditations to reach a deep relaxative state. It has an affinity to the throat chakra, psychologically calming and balancing. The antiseptic and anti-bacterial qualities make it especially useful in a bath or in lotions to sooth skin and encourage resistance to problem skin.
Contraindications
Roman chamomile has anti-spasmodic properties and should be avoided during pregnancy. It has been known to cause some irritation in some people.
